More to Give
A place to build skills, network and confidence by mentoring founders who need your help.

What’s on offer?
A monthly subscription to mentor talented founders of startups, social enterprises and charities.
You: gain real-world experience, test your offer, meet interesting people - and give back.
They: get access to you for up to 10 hours (over a few weeks). For free.
-
Unlike other mentoring platforms, More to Give is assignment based - you sign up to help one Founder on a specific written brief for up to 10 hours.
We know that you can’t always commit indefinitely - and some of you want to play the field.
-
You can have up to two live assignments running at any one time.
-
Mentors propose three assignments they’re interested in - More to Give then selects the best fit, based on our experience, and proposes you to the Founder.
If the Founder agrees, introductions are made, a call is recommended and you formally agree to contract for up to 10 hours. Feedback is sought as the assignment is completed.
-
Sourcing top quality startups, sharpening their assignment briefs and matching takes time.
Also, you’re building valuable skills, networks and confidence; think of it like the training you wish you got at work!
Build your skills, network and confidence as you share your skills, experience and know-how with startups, social enterprises and charities in short, high-impact assignments.
Why mentor?
For many of us, work isn’t what it once was. The challenge may have changed. The upward trajectory may be slowing. The opportunities for growth may be drying up.
And yet, you may not feel ready to leave. Just yet.
Mentoring can be a way to accelerate your development, test your offer, grow your network and build options for the future. It can build your CV and get you valuable experience if you’re interested in a board advisory roles or becoming a NED.
All the time giving back up and helping someone who appreciates you.

This is Joseph
Joseph runs a water conservation charity based in London. It’s his third business and he’s pretty experienced. But he’d like to bounce ideas off someone who understands different partnership models and the risks and opportunities.
He’s also looking for help to write several job descriptions for new hires in his marketing team.
Can you help?
